Corbin is the P.S. blessing in the Anderson family, arriving 8 years after
his older brother, Cason, and 6 years after his sister, Cara. Since the
beginning, his personality has matched his hair color, full of sunshine, and
his clear blue eyes mirror a rare innocence. He often comes in from playing
with his African friends concerned about their naughtiness.  He asks them
not to swear or "moon" the opposing soccer team, but is beginning to
understand that the desire to do right comes from having received Christ as
Savior, which most of his friends have not done yet. Very tenderhearted, he
sheds tears when a pet dies and comes to report every scrape, bruise, and
illness of his friends.

Corbin loves to laugh. He will repeat a favorite joke for weeks, including
blond jokes, even though he is one of the "tribe." With impatient
expectancy, he waits for the Sunday comics to arrive in the mail from one
grandma, and chortles over the jokes sent from the other grandma by email. He also enjoys reading, building with Legos or Geomags, and competing in world conquest computer games with Dad and siblings on Sunday afternoon. Nothing can beat the pleasure, though, of simply playing with his friends on the veranda and then congregating in the neighborhood for a game of street soccer.  Recently he has developed a fascination for gardening and has been given a spot in the yard to grow plants. He does well in school, but detests writing compositions.

Although he sometimes pesters his older siblings relentlessly to get his
way, reacts with dramatic hyperbole to changing circumstances, and tends to
struggle against being a worrywart, the family loves Corbin's exuberance and
counts on the comic relief he provides. They pray that he will always
embrace God's will with limitless enthusiasm and steadfastness.
